Product Description

The South West: From Dawn till Dusk takes readers on a journey, in words, maps and stunning photographs, through the diverse landscapes of Western Australia's south-west corner from Mandurah to Albany. Rob Olver's infectious enthusiasm stirs the imagination as he celebrates the region's social history, flora and fauna, bushwalks and attractions, as well as its magnificent scenery.

This is a book to delight locals, tourists, naturalists, bushwalkers and all who love wild, open spaces. Rob Olver was born in Durban, South Africa, and migrated with his family to Australia in 1983. Since settling in Perth in 1985, Rob has spent many of his holidays 'down south', bushwalking and exploring the South West. He works part-time as a veterinarian in Perth and devotes the rest of his time to photography, travel and writing. His first book (with Stuart Olver) was Dawn till Dusk in the Stirling and Porongurup Ranges.
