This excellent map of the Himalaya region is perfect for planning travel as well as for navigating after you arrive. Using shaded relief to indicate topography, the map emphasizes the lowland and mountain areas.

The map coverage includes northern India, southern Tibet and surrounding areas in China, Bhutan, Nepal, Sikkim, northern Bangladesh, northern Pakistan, Kashmir, eastern Afghanistan and southern Tajikistan. Mountain ranges shown on the map include the Hindu Kush, the Karakorams, the Kailas, the Dafla Hills, the Singalila and the Mahabarat as well as the Great Himalayan.

All major roads, airports and railways are shown, as are a number of smaller roads. Distances between major centers is shown. The detail includes international and administrative boundaries, mountain peak and pass elevations, places of historical, religious or tourist interest, national parks and ancient sites. The legend is in English, German and French.
