We stock thousands of charts covering most of the globe. We can offer advice for voyage planning whether you're heading from Perth to Geraldton or Perth to Brazil. Peter also runs one-on-one or group courses for coastal and celestial navigation. The Navy produces charts covering the entire Australian coast. We stock the complete range, all fully corrected. If you need to update your own charts, the notices to mariners (including blocks and tracings) can be downloaded in .pdf format free of charge from www.hydro.gov.au. Otherwise printed copies are available free from our store. There is also an online index of all the Australian charts here.  We are Western Australia's only British Admiralty agent. BA charts cover the rest of the world. We carry large stocks of these and any we don't have can be brought in overnight at no extra charge. These are also all fully corrected. Once again the notices to mariners are available free online from the UKHO website, and an online catalogue of their charts and publications is available here.  DPI produce a great set of Western Australian charts covering from Cape Naturaliste up to Kalbarri, with a few random areas outside that including Shark Bay, Exmouth and the Abrolhos Islands. The charts only cover small areas (up to about 6-7 miles offshore) but in a huge amount of detail. We don't update these charts but if you need to, the notices are available here. The charts are also available in digital format as either ECW, .tiff or .pdf files. Recently they have been licensed by the Navy to run on the Endeavour™ Navigator system as well.  There are several different electronic charting systems available. HSA (Hydrographic Sciences Australia) puts out a system called Endeavour™ Navigator which runs Seafarer® charts produced by the RAN. At the moment most of the charts are rasterised with a few areas on the east coast being covered by vector charts. For more information you can visit www.hsa.com.au.
