Several years ago Peter walked into the Chart & Map Shop to buy a chart and walked away having bought the whole shop. From an early career in the Merchant Navy through university to marketing iron ore into China and management roles in the mining industry, Peter has continued to feel the salt water running in his veins. He and Lynne have owned a succession of cruising yachts, from a Hartley trailer sailor to a 47' steel ketch in which they have travelled across the Bight and up and down the west coast of Australia. He and Lynne are members of both the Cruising Yacht Club of Western Australia and the Fremantle Sailing Club. They are now the proud co-owners of 'Wobbe', a 100 year old dutch barge, on the French canals.

Lynne, Peter's wife, has worked for an international airline and an Australian port authority but most recently taught English to overseas students until the Chart & Map Shop took over her life. She has travelled extensively in Europe and has a particularly good knowledge of France following on from an interest since school and university days. Her interests are sailing, swimming and walking with her German Shepherd, Storm.

Dani now runs the business leaving her parents more time to cruise the French canals. She has travelled extensively through Europe, the Middle East and Africa in the Northern Hemisphere and has travelled through Indonesia and other parts of SE Asia on this side of the world. Dani has just bought her first yacht, a 30ft wooden Randell called 'Dawdle II'.

Sally is one of our chart correctors, responsible for keeping our huge range of nautical charts up to date. Sally has a wealth of knowledge in nautical charts having previously worked with Marine & Harbours in the cartographic office for many years. Before commencing work at the Chart & Map Shop Sally and her young family enjoyed an 8 month trip around Australia. Born in country New South Wales and then living in Sydney before moving to Perth, Sally has travelled extensively throughout Australia and also overseas through Europe and Asia.

This lady is single and is seeking... Oops sorry wrong website... Kay is our Accounts Manager who specialises in debt collecting and tries to keep a tight rein on finances. She has been involved with shipping most of her working life, with a brief stint in finance in Melbourne. She has a little experience in sailing and has travelled to Europe and Asia. Kay travels frequently to our South West and is a regular visitor to Kalgoorlie. She is a keen tennis player and has her ticket in scuba diving.

Caitlin loves the water and also enjoys travelling. She has been to Britain and Ireland as well as Singapore and Bali. She also plans to see most of the world in time.

Liz grew up in Fremantle and has always appreciated the importance of the port town and its unique history. She has travelled extensively throughout the United States and spent time living and working in the UK.
