From IGN's Decouverte du Monde (Discover the World) series, this Cuba map at 1:1 230 000 features excellent detail. Highways, principal roads and many minor roads are clearly marked out with intermediate road distances shown on most of them. Towns are classified according to population and loads of places of interest or significance are indicated on the map: railways, airports, ports, campsites, beaches, petrol stations and more.

Topography is shown with relief shading and colouring indicates vegetation. Administrative boundaries and scenic routes are also marked out. The legend is in several languages, including English.

The map includes small insets showing various major towns and regions throughout Cuba: Eastern Beaches of Havana, Varadero, Cayo Coco - Cayo Guillermo, Baconao, Cayo Largo, Santiago de Cuba and Havana. These insets show various places of interest including museums, theatres, post offices, hospitals, restaurants and some accommodation options.

Heir to a long line of cartographers, IGN has been involved in all cartography-related operations in France and its territories since 1940.
