From IGN's Decouverte des Pays du Monde (Discover the Countries of the World) series, this Guinea-Bissau map covers the small west African nation in pretty good detail at 1:500 000. Highways, principal roads and many minor roads are clearly marked out with intermediate road distances shown on most of them. Places of interest or significance are indicated on the map including railways, airports, post offices, hospitals and more.

Topography is shown with relief shading and spot heights, and colouring indicates vegetation. Administrative boundaries are also marked out. The legend is only in French and Portuguese, but you can make a reasonable guess as to what most of the symbols mean.

There's also a small inset with a basic street map of the capital, Bissau, at 1:20 000 with named roads and various buildings marked. Another small inset shows the administrative regions of Guinea-Bissau.

Heir to a long line of cartographers, IGN has been involved in all cartography-related operations in France and its territories since 1940.
