This new map covers that portion of Mexico from Ixtapa and San Luis Potosi in the west, Acapulco in the south. Veracruz and Tampico in the east, and Ciudad Victoria in the north. It shows roads and road conditions, urban areas by population, physical features, state boundaries, gas stations in rural areas, beaches, parks, and cultural attractions.

This is the most detailed map of this portion of Mexico in print. The reverse side shows an excellent map of central Mexico City, the largest city in the western hemisphere (much larger than NYC or LA).

This map concentrates on the central portion of an unban area that stretches for many kilometres (or miles). The Centro, or old downtown revolves around the Zololo and the cathedral built on the site of an ancient Aztec temple. The Zona Rosa, of the Reforma, is the centre of hotels and restaurants, and the Chapultapec park area is the huge open-air lungs of this vast metropolitan area.

The city's subway lines are shown in-situ, as well as on an inset map.
