Nelles Namibia-Botswana Road Map by Nelles Verlag (2016)
Namibia at 1:1,500,000 extending eastward to the adjoining regions of Botswana as far as to Victoria Falls in Tanzania, with its smaller map size offering a convenient format for use when travelling. It is printed on waterproof and tear-resistant plastic paper, suitable for travelling in humid environment.
The map divides the region north / south, with a small overlap between the two sides (Windhoek is shown on each side). Vivid relief shading with numerous spot heights and names of mountain ranges and peaks very effectively presents the topography.
Road network distinguishes several categories of roads from expressways to cart tracks, and shows distances on main routes. Railway lines and local airports are included, and the map also shows internal administrative boundaries in both countries with names of the provinces.
National parks or protected areas and numerous other places of interest are very prominently highlighted. Latitude and longitude lines are drawn at intervals of 0.5
