From IGN's Decouverte du Monde (Discover the World) series, this North Germany map at 1:500 000 features excellent detail. Highways, principal roads and many minor roads are clearly marked out with intermediate road distances shown on most of them. Places of interest or significance are indicated on the map including railways, airports, national parks, petrol stations, rest stops, campsites, ruins, ferry routes and more.

Topography is shown with relief shading and colouring indicates vegetation. Administrative boundaries and scenic routes are also marked out. The legend is in several languages, including English.
