This is a double-sided, waterproof and tear-resistant map from ITMB combining on one side an indexed street plan of the Eternal City with on the reverse a road map of Italy south of the capital, including Sicily and Sardinia.

On one side is a street plan of Rome at 1:10,000 covering the city, roughly, west - east from the Vatican and Villa Doria Pamphilli to the Termini railway station, and north - south from the Olympic sites to the Portuense district. Metro stops are clearly marked and symbols indicate locations of numerous hotels, perhaps in places drowning the names and symbols for the city's numerous archaeological and historical sites, churches and other places of interest.

For drivers the map indicates main traffic arteries and locations of petrol stations. The plan is indexed and accompanied by a diagram of the metro network.

On the reverse is an indexed map of Italy south of Rome at 1:925,000, with Sardinia included as an inset. The map shows the region's network of main, secondary and selected local roads, railways and ferry connections. Various places of interest are highlighted and national parks or other protected areas are marked.
