The Chart & Map Shop is under new ownership.
In March 2026, The Chart & Map Shop sadly entered liquidation after decades in business. We've just purchased the business assets from the liquidator and are in the process of reestablishing the website and a new store based in Jolimont. It's a huge job which we hope to be up and running before the end of May 2026.
Unfortunately, the liquidation resulted in many orders being unfulfilled leaving a lot of customers understandably upset. The new owners are a separate legal entity to the company that went into liquidation, with no legal liability for the previous business's outstanding orders. Even so, we don't want to start a new chapter without doing what we can to address this awful situation. We're offering every affected customer a store credit equal to 20% of their original order value, redeemable across our new range for 12 months from the date we reopen.
