Western Australian Exploration Volume 1 is the annotated record of all the known extant documents of Western Australian land exploration for the period. This seminal collection of 130 items, many of which have never before been publicly accessible, is a unique view of Western Australia as it was found by the explorers. It is a fundamental source of importance to all Australians who have an interest in our origins.

This is one of the most significant volumes ever published in Western Australia and the first of its type in Australia. Few have before attempted such a project.

It is the result of many years and tens of thousands of hours collecting, collating, typing and proofing. It will be an essential reference for all interested in Western Australia history. Other volumes are in preparation.
