Caracas is built in a valley between high peaks, which makes it a difficult city to map. The ITMB map covers between Casalta or Montalban in the west to Parque del Este and the local airport east of the city centre. The pedestrian walkways near the cathedral are clearly shown, as are the shopping areas, numerous hotels, the subway system, the parks, and the churches.

The map includes an inset showing Caracas and it's environs highlighting the motorway exits and another with a diagram of the Rapid Transit System (Metro).

The map is single-sided and printed on paper.
