This is the first map ever published of the roads and attractions of Vietnam from the Chinese border south through Hanoi and Ha Long Bay to Thanh Hoa, en route to Hue. The Hanoi city map has been expanded to show the increased municipal boundary and the new roads being built almost overnight.

The map is 1:18 000 scale for the city map on one side, and 1:500 000 scale for the regional map on the other side. It includes an inset showing an enlargement of the Old Town at 1:10 000.

The legend is in English and Vietnamese and includes airports, points of interest, beaches, border gates, mines, swamps, national parks, etc.

Contour lines and altitude shading with some spot heights indicate the topography, the map is double sided and printed on paper.
