The Mornington Peninsula National Park and Arthurs Seat State Park are situated approximately 70kms from Melbourne. Their scenic and panoramic beach views, great walks and excellent natural attractions make these parks popular destinations.

The Mornington & Arthurs Seat map and guide provides a wealth of information on the parks and their surrounds in an easy-to-read map. The map is designed for use in the parks and the surrounding district. The comprehensive list of telephone numbers, book references and the incisive text will make your next trip to either park even more informative and enjoyable.

Designed primarily for the walker, naturalist or just the curious, the map contains the latest data available and was field checked between October 2000 and February 2001, making it the most accurate and current map available of the area.

The 1:25 000 map covers the main sections of the Mornington Peninsula National Park, while the 1:20 000 maps are enlargements of Point Nepean and Arthurs Seat. Strip maps of the coastal section of Mornington Peninsula National Park, ensure the whole park is covered from Point Nepean through to Flinders. Features include creeks and lakes, tracks and roads, cultural and historical features, as well as road reserves and other linear features to help navigation. Special highlights are the detailed information about the Two Bays Walking Track and the Peninsula Walking Track.

Accompanying the map is a generous amount of text and photography highlighting the parks' history, flora and fauna, and conservation. There are also sections covering local information, web links, further reading, and local tourist attractions. The map folds to a handy pocket size of 250 x 100 mm and is printed on a hard wearing paper.

Gloss Laminate

Gloss laminate makes colours look more vibrant and stand out more, but is quite shiny (reflective). If you’re planning on using a marker of any sort, this is a better choice because it’s easier to clean. Your print will be fully encapsulated (so laminated on both sides) in durable 80 micron laminate and will last you a lot longer than plain paper.

Matte Laminate

Matte laminate has a smooth, non-reflective, very classy looking surface. I wouldn’t say it dulls colours, but it doesn’t make them ‘pop’ (I hate that I just used that word) in the way that gloss does. Matte can be drawn on with pencil (and erased), but is harder to clean if you use markers. Your print will be fully encapsulated (so laminated on both sides) in durable 80 micron laminate and will last you a lot longer than plain paper.

Canvas

Everything looks better on canvas! Something about the texture really makes prints look wonderful. It is quite expensive though. We use a very high quality 340gsm artistic matte canvas. Your canvas print will come rolled with a roughly 50mm white border to allow you to have it stretched or mounted however you wish.
