Sierra Leone was one of the jewels of British Africa. In recent years, it has suffered through some troublesome years. Happily, the country is regaining stability and re-asserting itself as a desirable tourist destination.

ITMB have been fortunate in receiving considerable assistance from the Sierra Leone Tourism Authority in the updating of this map, which also includes a large inset map of Freetown, the country's capital.

A range of symbols indicate airports, ports, ferries, petrol stations, post offices, hospitals, missions, antiquities, places of interest, various types of accommodation, etc. National parks and reserves are also marked.

The map is single sided and printed on paper.
