Introducing young crew to life on the canals and rivers

RYA Go Inland! is a Royal Yachting Association title aimed at young people getting involved in inland waterways boating, whether on canals, rivers or other inland waters.

It covers the practical skills needed to be a confident, useful crew member afloat, including lock handling, mooring, steering and everyday life aboard an inland boat. The material is presented in an approachable style suited to younger readers new to boating.

A good starting point for children and teenagers heading out on canal or river boating holidays, or for families wanting a shared introduction to inland waterway skills.
