OSV Chemical Code, 2018 Edition

Published by the International Maritime Organization, this is the Code for the Transport and Handling of Hazardous and Noxious Liquid Substances in Bulk on Offshore Support Vessels, generally known as the OSV Chemical Code. It sets out international requirements for offshore support vessels that carry dangerous chemical cargoes in bulk.

Across its chapters and appendices it addresses vessel design and cargo tank arrangement, containment and transfer systems, ventilation, fire protection, pollution prevention and crew safety, giving operators, designers and crews a single reference for compliant cargo handling.
