Florence & Italy North East Road Map by ITMB

This double sided travel map pairs a detailed, waterproof city plan of Florence at 1:5,000 with a wide reaching regional map of Italy's northeast on the reverse at 1:600,000. The Florence side runs from the fortress north of the main railway station down to south of the Boboli Gardens, and from the Hippodrome across to the Asics Firenze sports complex, giving thorough coverage of the historic centre. Rapid transit lines, including those extending out to the airport, are clearly marked, alongside an extensive list of hotels, restaurants, churches, plazas, statues and notable buildings. Practical everyday details are covered too, from grocery stores and bars to electric bike charging points, bus stops, museums, theatres, cycling routes and libraries.

The reverse side covers what ITMB calls Italy's Northeast, starting at Trieste and following the northern border across to Milan, before heading down through Genoa, Pisa, Siena, Perugia and Viterbo. Motorways are shown in purple and main roads in red, with the region's top attractions marked throughout, making it easy to base a trip in Florence while taking day trips further afield using the same map.

Printed on durable waterproof material, the map opens out to 69 x 99cm and folds down to a compact 10.3 x 25cm. A thorough, dual purpose reference for anyone splitting their time between Florence and Italy's northeast.
