Remaining one of the world's strongest tourist destinations, Hong Kong serves not only as a principal gateway into mainland China but as a heritage rich city in its own right, and this double sided, waterproof and tear resistant map covers it from both angles. One side presents the heavily urbanised Kowloon and Central districts at 1:10,000, running from Mong Kok south to the Peak Tram route, with clear colour coding for main traffic arteries, well marked highway junctions and one way streets. MTR and KCR stations are shown with their various entrances and exits, alongside the double decker tram line, the Mid-Levels Escalator, and ferry connections across Victoria Harbour and to the outlying islands and Macau. Pedestrianised streets and Hong Kong Island's characteristic hillside staircases are also marked, along with a range of hotels and other points of interest.

The reverse side pulls back to 1:60,000, covering the whole of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, comprising 133 islands, many preserved as parkland, along with Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. This side extends north to Shenzhen and takes in the airport, Disneyland, the wider transit and rail network, and smaller cities such as Aberdeen, Sha Tin and Tai Po, along with a scattering of lesser visited islands offering a rather different side of Hong Kong life, from beach resorts to small local communities.

Unfolded, the map measures 100 x 69cm, folding down to a compact 24.6 x 10.3cm. A thorough, dual scale reference for exploring both central Hong Kong and the wider territory surrounding it.
