Passage Planning for the China Sea

NP30 is Volume 1 of the Admiralty China Sea Pilot, part of the UK Hydrographic Office's worldwide Sailing Directions series supporting official Admiralty charts. This thirteenth edition, published in 2024, covers commercial shipping routes through the China Sea region.

As with other volumes in the series it sets out navigational hazards, buoyage, pilotage notes, regulations, port facilities and seasonal or climatic conditions, illustrated with diagrams and photography to assist with passage planning. It is intended for use by professional crews navigating these waters, alongside the relevant charts rather than in place of them.
