Southern BC & Alberta by ITMB

Being based in Vancouver, ITMB has always had a strong local market for its map line, with existing titles covering Western Canada, British Columbia on its own, and the southern half of BC combined with Washington State. What had been missing until this release was a single map covering the most visited part of the entire country: the southern halves of both British Columbia and Alberta together, with a small slice of Washington State, Idaho and Montana included to help travellers heading north navigate border crossings.

Side one covers BC from the US border, with a carry on to Seattle, north to Prince George and east to the Alberta border, taking in all of Vancouver Island, the Okanagan Valley and the Rocky Mountain national parks of Banff and Jasper. Nearly 1,000 wilderness campsites are marked, along with ski areas, fishing spots and fuel stations, even in the province's more remote corners.

Side two picks up Alberta from just north of Edmonton down to the American border and a little beyond, extending from the Rockies east past the Saskatchewan border, capturing the shift from high mountain country to the foothills and plains of the Canadian Prairies. Detailed inset maps of Calgary and Edmonton are included, along with a Top Attractions guide highlighting the region's best known drawcards. A well rounded single sheet reference for exploring the most heavily touristed stretch of Western Canada.
