Martin Chambers
Martin paddled his first canoe when he was eight and has been involved in canoeing ever since. He joined the Swan Canoe Club at 13, won the state junior slalom championships and has medalled at several Australian competitions. He was secretary and then president of the canoe club and has designed, manufactured and retailed canoes and kayaks.

Martin began the first white water rafting tours in WA and the first commercial sea kayak expeditions. He has over 30 years experience in teaching, guiding and leading outdoor activities. As well as paddling on just about every available body of water in WA, he has paddled expeditions in a dozen countries including New Guinea, Fiji, Canada, Mongolia, Siberia, Arctic Norway and the Antarctic.
