One Day, Seven Children, One World

This Is How We Do It follows real children from seven different countries through a single ordinary day, from waking up and getting to school to family meals and play.

Author and illustrator Matt Lamothe based each child's story on interviews and photographs from real families, using a distinct illustration style for each home and culture shown.

A warm way for young readers to notice both the differences and the everyday similarities that connect children around the world.
