From IGN's Decouverte des Pays du Monde (Discover the Countries of the World) series, this Caribbean map covers the whole of the region in pretty good detail at 1:2 500 000. Highways, principal roads and many minor roads are clearly marked out with intermediate road distances shown on most of them. Places of interest or significance are indicated on the map including railways, airports, restricted areas, national parks and more.

Topography is shown with relief shading and spot heights. Administrative boundaries are also marked out. The legend is in several languages including English.

Several insets show street maps of the major cities and towns, Tunis, Kairouan and Sousse, with named roads and various buildings marked. Another small inset shows Djerba (Jerba) Island in the Gulf of Gabes, off the coast of Tunisia.

Heir to a long line of cartographers, IGN has been involved in all cartography-related operations in France and its territories since 1940.
