Weems Protractor Chart Plotting Tool

Based on the long-established Breton and Portland plotter designs, the Weems Protractor combines a rotating compass rose with a gridded clear base so you can work through the everyday tasks of chart navigation with one instrument.

Use it to lay off a course or bearing, measure the distance between two points, plot a position from known coordinates, or read off the latitude and longitude of a position already on the chart. Magnetic variation can be set on the rose in advance, making compass bearings quicker to plot.

• Rotating compass rose over a square grid
• Edge scales in nautical miles for 1:20,000, 1:40,000 and 1:80,000 charts
• Measures approximately 381 x 127 mm
• Supplied with a pencil and sharpener
